Our townhouse lower living level floor of approximately 700 Square feet was built in 2008 with a dark hardwood floor. We wanted to replace this floor with a light porcelain tile.
We sourced three companies for quotes, one from the internet, one from a recommendation of a friend and Westside Floors from their advertisement. One scheduled a visit and didn’t show up, one never returned our phone message and Daniel responded immediately to our call, scheduled a visit within a couple of days and turned up on the day and time scheduled. I am pleased the other two companies did not show because of the outstanding work Daniel and Westside Floors did for us. Daniel arrived and measured the area and immediately worked up a quote in great detail while we were with him so we could ask any questions and the price we thought was very, very competitive for what we believed it may cost. Daniel also gave us very valuable advice on the type and size of tile to select to suit our requirements and area. In addition, as we were new to the area he gave us tile manufacturers and locations, with showrooms, that we didn’t even know existed that Westside Floors do business with and can get contractor pricing. We eventually picked the tile from one of these manufacturers and Daniel ordered and picked it up.
Following the quote at our house and our very positive impression of Daniel and Westside Floors we immediately awarded him the work. He immediately scheduled his crew to tear out the hardwood floor and the tiling crew and they arrived as scheduled. Both crews completed the work in the stated timeframe, very professionally, very clean housekeeping, very high quality work, and insisted on moving our furniture around their work for us. Daniel arrived periodically to check the work progress and the quality even though he was very busy, and at the end of the job to visit us for our impressions. I don’t believe in any other survey that I have ever giver an outstanding review before but Daniel and Westside Floors fully deserve it for outstanding service, scheduling, professionalism, cleanliness and quality and they are good people. We will be doing our second floor next and I will only solicit Daniel and Westside Floors to perform the work.

Working with the owner, Daniel Lanni, was a real pleasure. He was professional and was always available for questions. We hired Westside Floors to install laminate wood throughout the house. (Three bedrooms and a study were previously done by another flooring company.) I decided to go with someone else as I had difficulty reaching the company I used before, therefore, I didn’t have a good feeling about using them again.
We were able to obtain the exact same brand and color we used in the other rooms. Daniel’s company did a great job installing the floors. The alignment of the planks were matched up very well with the existing floors.
On a spur of the moment decision we decided to go ahead and have new baseboards put in as well. Everything went smoothly installing the baseboard on the floors Daniels company installed, but ran into a glitch in the other rooms. The previous floor company left many of the planks a bit short for the new baseboards we were using. Daniel worked with us and came up with a solution to solve the problem.
The only problem we seem to be having is eliminating a space between the trim and the baseboards. I understand some of the problem is because the walls are not even. Daniels crew came back out to put more nails on the trim and it stayed for a while but eventually came loose. Again, I’m guessing this is most likely due to uneven walls. I decided to just seal it with a caulk to match the color of the floors/trim and that should be good.
Daniel helped us move a lot of furniture (even china and dishes out of the sideboard). We really appreciated that.

Westside Floors replaced the carpet in two of my bedrooms. They came when they said they would, completed the job when they said they would and left the house clean. The carpet also looks great! I would use them again.

My wife and I bought a new home with natural red oak select floors downstairs and carpet on the stairs and all upstairs, we wanted to rip out all the carpet in the house and have hardwoods throughout. I had 3 quotes given when we started from 3 different contractors on the same day for this work to be performed. All contractors missed their appointment times but only Daniel with Westside Floors called me to inform me they were running late due to traffic. All other contractors arrived late, one over an hour late without any phone calls. Daniel was also the only contractor to point out water damage on our downstairs wood floors.
Daniel was able to work with us on our tight schedule as we needed the work done before we moved in, and was very easy to work with on design changes and corrections after the job was started. They were able to refinish our wood floor downstairs to correct the bowing due to water damage. Match the stain for all the new floors in the house and complete the work on time so we could start painting before our move.
Once they finished, they did a full walk thru to make sure everything was as it should be and Westside Floors gives a warranty for the work performed. Would gladly recommend them to others and plan on having them give me quotes in the future for other projects I have in mind. If I could, I would post pictures. My wife and I love our wood floors!

I had 2 bedrooms and a hallway tiled. Work was done in just hours. Clean up well after work completed and easy to contact. Fast, reliable, and trustworthy service. Great work for a reasonable price. Good estimator for the amount of products used.

Ace work, fit my schedule (on short one week notice!) While my wife was out of town and installed it as a surprise for her. Brought over bunches of samples and spent a lot of time talking to me about ideas, wood types, and also explained a lot of the specifics about types of hardwoods. Took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. Turned out super nice! My wife really liked the surprise and really likes the floors. Recommend wood type is great with the dogs and looks fantastic, recommended Dan to a friend and they were super satisfied with the work as well.

Daniel drove all the way to our ranch which is in Columbus Texas and verified they could do the job. Set up the date and time. One the date, Two workers promptly arrived on time and immediately started to work. They were able to tile and grout a 25’ x 25’ room on the diagonal in one day. The work was very professionally done and I was extremely happy with the look. Would definitely recommend Westside Floors and look forward to working with Daniel again.

I am a DYI kind of person but I decided to hire Daniel and his team at Westside Floors to complete the backsplash in my kitchen. Daniel was quick to respond to my inquiry. He was flexible working around my schedule. His team showed up early and completed the work the same day. It would have taken me all weekend. As a good owner/boss, Dan stopped by after the job was done to ensure I was satisfied, I was. I will be working with Westside Floors on future projects.

I hired Westside Floors to do the living areas and bedrooms of my house. Daniel was transparent about pricing and costs, and responsive in bidding our job in numerous different options. Then he and his crew did a professional job with the installation itself. I was especially impressed with the wood on the stairs and detail work under the door trim. A lot of contractors disappear as soon (or before) the job is done, but Daniel stands behind his work and took care of one small area in the dining room that I wasn’t initially happy with but now I am.

Impeccable quality-oriented company and excellent communication. My master bath wet shower and tub remodel job was very well handled and we ended up with a quality look that was exponentially more than we expected.
